Albert "Ab" Harris Memorial Scholarship



Freshman students actively participating in an EWC athletic or music program with at least a 3.00 GPA are eligible for this $500 scholarship. 





Alma Anker Memorial Scholarship



Incoming freshmen with a minimum high school GPA of 3.50 and second year students with a minimum college GPA of 3.00 are considered for this $300 award. Preference is given to students intending to major in history, English, psychology or sociology.





Arlene Shindledecker Memorial Scholarship



Full-time students with a minimum 3.20 GPA and financial need as determined by the FAFSA are eligible. The scholarship provides a minimum of $1,750 for one year.





Banner Health Employees Scholarship



Banner Health employees and/or immediate family members who are accepted into, and enroll in, a program designed to prepare students for careers such as nurses in the healthcare industry (NURS, PHSC). Banner Health employees taking the CNA course are also eligible. Completion of the FAFSA is required. If a scholarship recipient qualifies for a Pell Grant, the grant will be applied to the recipient's tuition costs. The remainder of the recipient's tuition costs will be paid by the scholarship fund.





Bloedorn Lumber Company Scholarship



One graduate each from Torrington High School and Lingle-Fort Laramie High School in Goshen County, WY is considered for a $1,500 scholarship.





Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming Caring Foundation Health Profession Scholarship

Wyoming residents majoring in a health-related program are eligible for one $1,000 scholarship offered each year.





Bob and Martha Erickson Memorial Scholarship



Traditional and non-traditional students who have been long-term Goshen County, WY residents are encouraged to apply for this scholarship. Award amounts vary according to the additions to and earning of the endowment. This is a need-based scholarship which requires completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).





Burns Family Scholarship



Goshen County, Wyoming high school graduate with a minimum GPA of 2.5 or Goshen County, Wyoming GED or high school equivalency. This is a need-based scholarship which requires completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).





C.H. Brown Family Scholarship



A degree-seeking student in good academic standing enrolled at least half-time (six credits) may apply for this scholarship. Recipients may reapply for a second year of the award. The award amount varies according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





Carl and Orma Oberg Memorial Scholarship



Graduating Torrington, WY seniors carrying a 2.50 or higher GPA are considered for this award. Preference is given to students who have not been awarded other scholarships. One award is given each year; the amount varies according to the additions and earnings of the endowment.





Cecilia Casillas Scholarship



Students with financial need from Goshen, Platte or Niobrara County, WY who are majoring in Pre-Health Sciences or are pursuing the Certified Nursing Assistant course are eligible for this scholarship. The scholarship amount varies according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment. This is a need-based scholarship which requires completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).





Charlene Fanning Franks Nursing Scholarship



Nursing majors with a minimum 3.00 GPA who are residents of Wyoming or Nebraska may apply for this renewable scholarship. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required. Award amounts vary according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





Chuck Rogers Memorial Scholarship



Students attending an EWC Outreach Center or EWC Douglas Campus and attending at least half-time (six credits) are eligible to apply for this scholarship. This need-based scholarship requires completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The award amount varies according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment. This scholarship is renewable, but recipient must complete the EWC scholarship application for the following year.





City of Torrington/Wyoming Community Gas Scholarship



Full-time EWC freshman or sophomore students who graduated from Torrington High School in Wyoming are eligible for this $2000 scholarship. Applicants must have at least a 2.50 cumulative GPA to be considered.





Clapp Family Endowment Scholarship



Goshen County, WY high school graduates with financial need who plan to enroll in at least six credits are considered for this award. The student must be enrolled in a program of study emphasizing science. The scholarship amount varies according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment. 





Cody McKinney Memorial Scholarship



Four $400 awards are provided by the Goshen County Rooster Boosters each year to freshman or sophomore students carrying at least a 2.50 GPA. Goshen County, WY, residency is NOT required.





David Eddington and Gertrude Poage Eddington Scholarship



This scholarship is awarded to an incoming freshman who graduated from a high school in Niobrara, Goshen or Laramie counties in Wyoming with a minimum 2.50 GPA and financial need. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required. The award amount varies according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





David Ludwig Memorial Scholarship



An amount equal to the amount of in-state tuition for up to 16 credit hours is awarded each year to one freshman or sophomore Welding or Machine Tooling student with a 2.00 or higher GPA.





Delger Family Scholarship



Funds have been provided by Steven and Suzey Delger to create a scholarship for EWC Nursing students. Award amounts vary according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





Donna Cay Heinz Memorial Scholarship



Preference for this $500 scholarship is given to full-time agriculture or Veterinary Technology majors with a minimum 2.00 GPA and financial need (completion of the FAFSA is required). Wyoming residency is required. Recipient may be awarded for a second year if requirements are met. 





Downing-Reed-Prahl Scholarship

Platte or Goshen County, WY high school graduates are eligible for this scholarship. The award amount varies according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





Dr. F.S. Brown Scholarship (Torrington Lion's Club)



One $600 scholarship is provided yearly by the Torrington Lions Club to a full-time sophomore or second-year student who has demonstrated financial need during his/her freshman year. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required. Preference is given to Goshen County, WY residents.





Eastern Wyoming College Black & Gold Award



This award encourages timely completion of classes and rewards successful progress toward a degree. Applicants must be new EWC students who are seeking a degree or certificate. DEGREE-SEEKING STUDENTS must enroll in and successfully complete at least 15 credits (non-concurrent) and maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.00 each consecutive semester to receive incremental awards ($300, $500, $500). CERTIFICATE-SEEKING STUDENTS are eligible for $300 after successful completion of one term (12-15 credits depending on credit requirements for the certificate; must complete at least half of the program's required credits). A recipient completing a one-year certificate may be eligible for the second year of the award if returning for a degree program in the next semester. The scholarship can be used toward any educational expense, meaning it does not have to be used only for tuition and fees charges if you already have a scholarship to cover those expenses. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required, and all required documents submitted, prior to the start of the term in which the scholarship begins.





Edward Lee Lynch Memorial Scholarship



Students with considerable financial need as determined by the FAFSA and who have demonstrated scholastic ability are considered for this award. The award amount and number of awards varies according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





Elizabeth "Betty" Kelly Memorial Scholarship



The Kelly family has the option to choose a recipient (such as a grandchild or great-grandchild). If the Kelly family does not notify EWC that they have selected a recipient, the scholarship will be open to any EWC student. The award amount varies according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment





Esther and Hubert Terrell Memorial Scholarship



Preference is given to a recent (within the last two years) high school graduate of Southeast High School in Goshen County, Wyoming. A minimum 3.00 high school GPA is required, and applicants must plan to enroll full-time at Eastern Wyoming College. Applicants must demonstrate financial need (completion of the FAFSA is required) and must submit a 500 word essay of past community involvement and upcoming volunteer activities. The scholarship is renewable but recipient must re-apply.





EWC Staff Alliance Leadership Scholarship



One incoming freshman student with a minimum high school GPA of 3.50 is eligible to receive this $500 scholarship each year.





Farm Credit Services of America Scholarship



Two traditional sophomore students enrolled in agricultural coursework are awarded this $2,000 scholarship each year. Awardees must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 and be a permanent resident of Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota or Wyoming. Preference is given to students intending to return to the farm/ranch or a farm-related job in a rural community.





First Generation Student Scholarship



This EWC award pays in-state tuition for four consecutive full-time semesters (or the equivalent if the student attends part-time) for first-generation students (i.e., biological parents did not complete a baccalaureate degree). Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.00 each semester and successfully complete the credit hour load for which they were awarded to continue receiving the scholarship. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required, and all required documents submitted, prior to the start of the term in which the scholarship begins.





Fraizer-Schliske Memorial Scholarship



Scholarships in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded to students majoring in ag education, ag business, or criminal justice.





Gail Branham Memorial Scholarship



Students majoring in a program within the Cosmetology Department who graduated from a Wyoming high school are eligible to receive this award. A minimum GPA of 2.00 and financial need are required. The award amount varies according to the additions to and earning of the endowment. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required.





Goshen Cattlewomen Scholarship



One $350 scholarship is awarded to a sophomore majoring in agriculture each year. Preference is given to students with financial need who are from Goshen County, WY.





Goshen County Beet Growers Scholarship



The Goshen County Beet Growers Association provides a scholarship of at least $700 each year (disbursed one-half of the award amount each semester) to an EWC student who comes from an agricultural background. Applicants must enroll full-time (at least 12 credits per semester) and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50. Financial need and academic performance are considered. Goshen County residency is not required.





Goshen County Beet Growers Transfer Scholarship



The Goshen County Beet Growers Association provides a scholarship of at least $700 each year to a graduating EWC student with a family background in the production of any agricultural commodity who plans to transfer to a four-year college or university. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 and must provide to the EWC Financial Aid Office a copy of their registration, schedule and/or acceptance letter to a four-year institution. Financial need and academic performance are considered.





Goshen County Quilters Scholarship



One scholarship of varying award amount is given per year, preferably to students in the fine arts. 





Ima Lynch Memorial Scholarship



Students with considerable financial need as determined by the FAFSA and who have demonstrated scholastic ability are considered for this award. The award amount and number of awards varies according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





International Student Scholarship



International students accepted for admission at EWC may apply for this scholarship. A cumulative GPA of at least 2.00 and successful completion of at least 12 EWC credit hours each semester. Students may re-apply for a second year. Award amounts vary.





Irv Larsen Memorial Scholarship



One history major (or a student who has successfully completed at least one college-level history course (note: the prefix must be HIST not POLS) is eligible to receive this $525 award provided each year by the Goshen County Chapter of the Wyoming Historical Society. A minimum GPA of 2.50 is required to receive the award and retain the scholarship for the second semester. Financial need is preferred, but not required.





Jeannie Wells Memorial Scholarship



Awarding preference is given to recent graduates of Southeast High School, WY, with a GPA between 2.00 and 3.00 who demonstrate financial need. One scholarship of at least $700 is given per year. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid (is required).





Jeannine Joyce Hill Memorial Scholarship



High achieving students with a GPA of 3.00 or higher qualify for a $1,000 scholarship. Must be seeking a degree or certificate in agriculture or Veterinary Technology. Must enroll full-time and have financial need as demonstrated by the FAFSA. This scholarship is renewable, but student must re-apply for a second year.





Jim Hudelson Memorial Scholarship



This scholarship is available to a full-time student who has completed two semesters of an Associate Degree of Nursing. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 and financial need as determined by the FAFSA. The award amount varies according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





Jim Wiseman Memorial Scholarship



Graduates of Torrington or Lingle high schools in Wyoming who are interested in teaching, coaching or athletics and have earned a minimum GPA of 2.50 can apply for this scholarship. Award amounts vary according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment. One (1) reference letter from teacher, coach or minister as to character will be required.





Jo Davis Memorial Scholarship



Students from the Lingle-Fort Laramie area in Wyoming or graduates of Lingle-Fort Laramie High School are eligible for one $500 scholarship provided by the James Davis Family each year. Student must be enrolled full-time (minimum 12 credit hours).





Jo Davis Memorial Vet Tech Scholarship



One veterinary technology student interested in small animal care receives this $500 scholarship provided by the James Davis Family each year. Student must be enrolled full-time (minimum 12 credit hours).





Joe and Mary Jane Kendall Scholarship



This scholarship is available to full-time students with a 3.20 minimum GPA and financial need. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid ) is required. Preference is given to students in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). Recipient may re-apply for a second year of the award. Award amounts will vary according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





John Lenhart Agriculture Scholarship



Incoming students with a 3.00 or higher GPA and demonstrated financial need are eligible for this scholarship provided by the estate of Gladyce Lenhart Heye. Preference is given to students pursuing an agriculture-related area of study such as veterinary science, veterinary technology, ag-business, ag-economics or farm/ranch management. The award amount varies according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required.





John Lenhart Nursing Scholarship



Goshen County, WY residents with strong scholastic ability and demonstrated financial need are eligible for this scholarship provided by the estate of Gladyce Lenhart Heye. Preference is given to students pursuing a course of study in nursing. The award amount varies according to the addition to and earnings of the endowment. Students must be enrolled and attending full-time (at least 12 credits). ACT scores are preferred. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required.





John Vandel Family Scholarship



An incoming freshman from Goshen County, WY majoring in pre-pharmacy or business with a minimum GPA of 2.75 is eligible to receive a $700 (minimum) award given by John and Joyce Vandel. 





Jolovich Family Endowment Scholarship



Students with demonstrated financial need and at least a 2.50 GPA are considered for this scholarship provided by Ed and Alyce M. Jolovich. The award amount varies according to the additions to and earning of the endowment. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required.





Judith Poage-Wright and David Alan Poage Memorial Scholarship



Students with financial need who graduated from a Niobrara or Goshen County, WY high school with a GPA of at least 2.50 will be considered for this scholarship. Students must maintain a 2.50 GPA to be considered for scholarship renewal. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required. The award amount varies according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





Kathryn Winship Scholarship



Two $1,500 scholarships are awarded each year to high school graduates who are pursuing an education degree, with preference given to elementary education majors. Recipients may receive this award for a second year if a minimum GPA of 3.00 is maintained.





Kathy Francisco Memorial Scholarship



One scholarship of varying amount is available each year to graduates of Lyman, Morrill or Mitchell, NE high schools or Southeast High School in Wyoming who have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00.





Kellie Burden Memorial Scholarship



A freshman or sophomore student who is a Wyoming resident majoring in education is eligible for this $100 scholarship. Preference is given to special education majors.





Kenneth Dill Memorial Scholarship



The family of Kenneth Dill provides one scholarship worth a minimum of $1,100 each year to a full-time returning student with a 3.00 or higher GPA and who has been out of high school for at least two years. This is a need-based scholarship and requires completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).





Kenny and Alice Youtz Memorial Scholarship



This scholarship is given in even-numbered fiscal years (i.e. 2023-2024) to an EWC freshman who is a recent graduate of a Goshen County, WY high school. Financial need may be considered, but is not required. The award amount varies according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





Kenyon Family Scholarship



Students who participated in high school extracurricular and community service activities and who maintained at least a 2.00 GPA are eligible to apply for this award sponsored by the Rev. John R. Kenyon and Charles K. Kenyon each year. Award amounts vary according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





L.C. and Mary Lou Atkins Scholarship



A full-time student demonstrating strong academic performance is eligible for this scholarship. Preference may be given to students with financial need. The number of awards granted and amount of award varies yearly according to the additions to and the earnings of the endowment.





L.W. and Jean Maxfield Memorial Scholarship



An EWC freshman or sophomore student with a minimum high school GPA of 3.00 is eligible for this award provided by the Maxfield family. Award amounts vary according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





Lauraine Henning Single Parent Scholarship



Preference for this scholarship is given to single parents enrolled in at least six credit hours. This scholarship is renewable, but the recipient must reapply. This is a need-based scholarship. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required.





Lee Seid Memorial Scholarship



This $240 award is given to a non-traditional adult student with financial need. Preference is given to Goshen or Platte County, WY residents. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required.





Lion's Club Scholarship



One $600 award is given annually by the Torrington Lions Club to a full-time incoming freshman who is a Goshen County, WY resident who demonstrates scholastic ability.





Lloyd and Marian McElhaney Scholarship



EWC freshman or sophomore students who demonstrate scholastic ability are eligible to receive this scholarship worth a minimum of $2,000. A cumulative GPA of at least 2.50 is required to receive and maintain this award provided by Marian McElhaney.





Maffe Family Memorial Scholarship



This $600 scholarship provided by the Maffe family is available to students with demonstrated financial need. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required.





Mareen Goddard Scholarship



Family and friends of Mareen Goddard made this scholarship available to a female Goshen County resident with a minimum GPA of 2.50. This is a need-based scholarship and requires completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).





Margaret F. Tebbet Scholarship



A freshman or sophomore with the potential for academic success is eligible for this $500 scholarship.





Margaret Hageman Memorial Scholarship



The estate of Margaret Hageman has provided this award for full-time students who show academic ability and financial need (as demonstrated on the FAFSA). Applicants must be Wyoming residents majoring in education who have completed at least one semester of college. Preference is given to non-traditional students and those with a background as a teacher's aide. The number of awards granted and amount of award varies yearly according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





Marna M. Kuehne Foundation Scholarship



The Marna M. Kuehne Foundation provides scholarships to degree seeking and non-degree seeking Wyoming residents who are veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. Value and number of awards varies. 





Medical Field Educational Opportunity Scholarship



Two $1000 scholarships are available to residents of Goshen County, Wyoming; one will be awarded to a student majoring in any medical field at EWC and one will be awarded to a student majoring in Nursing. Full-time enrollment and minimum 2.00 GPA are required. Preference will be given to students with financial need (completion of the FAFSA is required). This scholarship is renewable for a second year, but recipients must re-apply.





Melvin G. Willenbrink Welding Scholarship



This scholarship is available to an EWC freshman or sophomore with a GPA of 2.00 or higher, seeking a degree or certificate in welding or an EWC program of instruction related to the welding industry. The scholarship amount varies according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





Mildred Kidney Memorial Scholarship



Eligible graduates of any Goshen County, WY high school with demonstrated financial need who have been residents of Goshen County, WY for at least five years are eligible to apply. Preference is given to Yoder area residents. Award amounts vary according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required. 





Molly Moss Memorial Scholarship



Friends and family of Molly Moss have provided a $250 scholarship for a second-year veterinary technology student with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00. This is a need-based scholarship, which requires completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Essay required stating why they need this scholarship. 





Nathan Pieper Memorial Scholarship



The family and friends of Nathan Pieper have established a scholarship to be awarded to an agriculture major from western Nebraska, western South Dakota, eastern Montana, or Wyoming with a minimum GPA of 2.50. The scholarship amount varies according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





Neal and Lucille Willhite Memorial Scholarship



Recent high school graduates who have good scholastic ability (should be in the top quarter of their class) and financial need (as demonstrated on the FAFSA) are considered for this scholarship from the Neal and Lucille Willhite Memorial Fund each year. Award amounts vary according to the addition to and earnings of the endowment.





Norwest Bank Scholarship



College freshmen or returning students are eligible for this award. Preference is given to Goshen County, WY residents with financial need. Oliver "Tuffy" Dicken Memorial Agriculture Scholarship



Students with financial need majoring in agriculture who have a minimum GPA of 2.50 are eligible for this award. Applicant must be a Wyoming resident or resident of a contiguous state. Pepsi Scholarship



Graduating seniors at Wheatland and Niobrara County high schools in Wyoming who have a minimum 2.50 GPA are eligible for this $600 scholarship provided by Torrington Beverage, Inc.





Pinnacle Bank Agriculture Scholarship



A full-time student who is a Goshen County, WY resident enrolled in (or planning to enroll in) an agriculture-related course of study is considered for this $500 scholarship.





Pinnacle Bank Business Scholarship



A full-time student who is a Goshen County, WY resident enrolled in (or planning to enroll in) an business-related course of study is considered for this $500 scholarship.





Platte Valley ABATE (American Bikers Acting Toward Education) Book Scholarship



This scholarship is available to a Goshen County, WY resident with financial need attending EWC. The recipient must be a full-time incoming freshman. This award is for books and student equipment. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required.





Platte Valley Bank Scholarship



Three $500 scholarships are available each year to full-time freshman and sophomore students who graduated from a Goshen or Platte County, WY high school. Selection is based on, but not limited to, academic ability and effort.





Points West Community Bank Scholarship



A full-time student from within EWC's college district who shows strong academic promise in agriculture or business study is eligible to receive this $500 award.





R.F. Tebbet Housing Scholarship



Recent high school graduates with a minimum 3.00 GPA planning to live in an EWC dormitory are eligible for this scholarship provided by EWC. The number and value of awards given yearly varies and may be used for four consecutive semesters. Recipient must complete at least 12 credit hours each semester with a minimum semester GPA of 2.50. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required, and all required documents submitted, prior to the start of the term in which the scholarship begins.





R.W. and Freida Weickum Memorial Scholarship



Family and friends of R.W. Weickum have provided an annual scholarship of at least $550 for a Goshen County, WY graduate with a minimum GPA of 2.50. Preference is given to a student majoring in agriculture or an agriculture-related field. Financial need may be considered.





R.W. Fullmer EWC Rodeo Memorial Scholarship



Continuing EWC students who are Wyoming residents actively participating in rodeo with strong academic ability are considered for this scholarship provided by the Fullmer family. Award amounts vary according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





Ray E Wilt Memorial Scholarship



Full-time freshmen and sophomores with financial need who graduated from a Wyoming high school are eligible to receive this award provided by Platte Valley Bank in Torrington, WY. Selection is based on, but not limited to, academic ability and effort. Award amount vary according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required.





Rex Tebbet Scholarship



One scholarship is given each year to a full-time EWC student. Award amounts vary according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





Richard M. Baker Scholarship



Scholarships in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded to "non-traditional" students (their high school class would have graduated from high school two or more years ago) who are U.S. citizens, with preference to Wyoming residents. Students must enroll in at least six credit hours (half-time) at EWC and be seeking a degree or certificate. Student must have a 2.00 or higher GPA to earn the award.





Ruth and Glen Gorman Memorial Scholarship



Three first- or second-year students from Goshen, Platte or Niobara counties in Wyoming are awarded this scholarship each year. Award amounts vary according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





Sagebrush and Roses Scholarship



Six $1,500 scholarship are provided each year by Sagebrush and Roses, an EWC Foundation fundraiser for the agriculture programs at EWC. Students must be enrolled full-time, with a minimum GPA of 2.50 each semester, and seeking a degree in an ag-related program. Selection is based on academic performance, leadership and activities and may be renewed for a second year based on re-application.





Thaler Family Scholarship



Dennis and Sandy Thaler provide a scholarship of at least $700 to a freshman or sophomore agriculture major who graduated from a Wyoming high school with at least a 2.00 GPA. LaGrange, WY residents with any major are preferred.





Torrington Telegram/Jo Davis Memorial Scholarship



Goshen County, WY residents with financial need who are (or plan to be) full-time freshmen are considered for this scholarship awarded by the Torrington Telegram in memory of Jo Davis. The award amount is at least $250, but amount varies according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required.





Trevin Vonburg Memorial Scholarship



Preference will be given to a Welding/Machine Tooling major who is a non-traditional student from Nebraska or Wyoming. Applicant must enroll in at least six credit hours and have financial need as demonstrated on the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The award amount varies according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment. This scholarship is renewable, but recipient must reapply.





Tucker Family Memorial Scholarship



Three scholarships are available each year to returning students who are actively involved in volleyball or basketball. Applicants must have strong scholastic ability, financial need and a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required. Award amounts vary according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required. 





Union Pacific Corporation Scholarship



Wyoming resident students who have successfully completed at least one semester of college work with a minimum 2.00 GPA may apply for this award. Award amounts vary according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





Wayland H. Cato, Jr. Foundation Scholarship



Students with financial need who have demonstrated a commitment to a strong work ethic and who have participated in meaningful community service volunteerism are considered for this need-based scholarship. Award amounts vary according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required.





Wesch Family Memorial Scholarship



A Goshen County, WY high school graduate with financial need enrolled in any transfer or vocational program will be considered for this award. Student must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required. Award amounts vary according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment. This is a renewable scholarship.





Wickham Family Endowment Scholarship



Continuing students demonstrating financial need and who have earned a minimum of 25 credit hours and a minimum 2.25 cumulative GPA are considered for this award. Preference is given to direct descendants of Dale and Edie Wickham. Completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required. The award amount varies according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





William and Edna Smith Memorial Scholarship



One sophomore student who is actively participating in music, English or fine arts receives this scholarship provided by the Willliam and Edna Smith estate each year. Award amounts vary according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





William W. and Beverly D. Hovey Memorial Scholarship



The family of William W. and Beverly D. Hovey provide a scholarship each year to a student majoring in agriculture or an agriculture-related field. This is a need-based scholarship, which requires completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Award amounts vary according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





Wyoming National Guard Endowment Scholarship



Active members of the Wyoming National Guard enrolled in credit courses may receive this scholarship. Amounts and number of awards vary each year.





Wyoming Pork Producers Scholarship



This award is available to full-time Wyoming resident students with a GPA of at least 2.80 who are majoring in a field beneficial to the swine industry (e.g., ag-business, farm and ranch management, biology, pre-vet). Award amounts vary according to the additions to and earnings of the endowment.





Wyoming Retired Education Personnel Scholarship



This $1000 scholarship ($500 per semester) provides assistance to a student majoring in Education. Applicants must be Wyoming residents and sophomores with a GPA of 3.00 or higher. Recipient must maintain a 3.00 GPA to receive the spring disbursement.
